coppicing to make numeracy sticks for schools
We manage the forest for wildlife, for trees and for people. Making income from woodland produce will help us to keep the cycle of benefits moving. Winter coppicing, firewood creation and woodland products are slowly growing - there is much to do.

Building the compost loo
Volunteers are what makes Young Wood tick. Shaping the place, looking after the forest, creating spaces for others to come and be. Sessions are friendly and welcoming, as we are learning together. Find out more about the Neroche Conservation Volunteers and days coming up.
